This plant is a perennial shrub, the leaves of which is thick and mushy, and has reddish flowers.

          Its scientific name is Its flowers are bright orange or red.

          This plant is very similar to the ginger species and is usually planted in gardens.

           The leaves of the insulin plant are considered useful for blood sugar control and are very popular Ayurvedic. Costus igneous (Costus igneus)

          The leaves of the insulin plant are long, wide, and dark green in color.

          Blood sugar control: The leaves of the insulin plant contain natural compounds that help in reducing sugar levels and increasing insulin sensitivity.

          Every morning, wash a leaf on an empty stomach, chew it thoroughly and drink water on top.

          It can also be used as a tea or decoction: boil one or two leaves in water, strain and drink.

          How to make insulin plant tea

          Take two fresh insulin plant leaves and wash them thoroughly.    Boil a cup of water.

          Put the leaves in boiling water and let it cook over low heat for 5-10 minutes.

          Strain the tea when the color changes and the extract is gone.

          You can also add a light black salt to taste if you want. Drink this tea every morning on an empty stomach.

          Place the remaining tea in a glass or steel container.

          Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 days, but it is better to make it fresh every time to maintain freshness.

          When storing, keep in mind that the container is clean and the lid is closed.

          If the leaves are also to be stored, wrap them in paper or dry cloth at the bottom of the fridge, but do not put them in water
